                                   WHAT IS MALWARE

Malware is malecious software that is programmed to cause damage to a computer syatem,Network,and hardware devices.

                                   TYPES OF MALWARE

COMPTER VIRUS:  A computer virus is an ill- natured software application o authored code that can attach itself to other programs self-replicate and spread itself onto other devices.when executed a virus modified other computer programs by inserting its code into them.

COMPUTER WORM: A computer worm  is a self replicating malware program whose primary purpose is to infect other computers by duplicating itself while remaining active on infected systems.

TROJON HORSE: A trojon horse or trojon is only malware that misleads uses of its true intent by pretending to be a legitimate programs. The term is derived from ancient greek story of the deceptive trojon horse that led to the fall of the city of troy.  

trojon generally spread with social engineering Such as PHISHING.

ROOTKITS: A rootkit is a collection of malware designed to give anouthorized access to a computer or area of its software and often masks its existence or the existence of other software.

RANSOMWARE:  Ransomware is a form of malware, designed to deny access to a computer system or data until ransom is paid, Ransomware spreads through phising emails , malvertising, visiting infected websites or by exploiting vulnerabilities.

KEYLOGGER: Keyloggers,keystroke,loggers or system monitering are a type of malware used to moniter and record each keystroke typed on a specific computer's keyboard .
